  CAYUGA CREEK

* UNTIL 700 PM EST

* AT 1:15 PM THE GAGE HEIGHT AT LANCASTER WAS AT 11.45 FEET.
THIS IS WELL OVER THE FLOOD STAGE OF 8 FEET. THE RISE HAS BEEbN RAPID
AND IS APPARENTLY DUE TO AN ICE JAM NEAR COMO PARK.

PEOPLE WITH INTERESTS ALONG CAYUGA CREEK IN LANCASTER AND ALDEN
SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RISING WATER AND TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT
PROPERTY.
