THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HARTFORD COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT

* UNTIL 545 PM EST

* AT 145 PM EST... BOTH THE QUINNIPIAC AND SOUTH BRANCH OF THE PARK
RIVERS WERE RISING RAPIDLY. THE SOUTH BRANCH OF THE PARK NEAR
HARTFORD WILL RISE ABOVE THE 10 FOOT FLOOD STAGE BY 3 PM. THE
QUINNIPIAC JUST SOUTH OF HARTFORD MAY GO INTO FLOOD BY 3 OR 4 PM.
OTHER SMALLER STREAMS IN THE SOUTHEAST TWO THIRDS OF HARTFORD
COUNTY ARE LIKELY TO BE IN FLOOD FOR A SHORT TIME DURING MID OR
LATE AFTERNOON BEFORE ALL RIVERS AND STREAMS START RECEDING TOWARD
5 PM.

HARTFORD COUNTY BY 4 PM.
