DEKALB COUNTY...IN NORTHERN ALABAMA... * UNTIL 705 PM CDT. * AT 615 PM CDT... WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER DEKALB COUNTY...JUST EAST OF GERALDINE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHWEST AT AROUND 15 MPH...AND WILL AFFECT GERALDINE AND THE EXTREME WESTERN PORTIONS OF DEKALB COUNTY THROUGH 7 PM. DAMAGING WINDS...AND LARGE HAIL ARE LIKELY. GO INSIDE A STURDY BUILDING ...AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS! SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH... DESTRUCTIVE HAIL... DEADLY LIGHTNING... AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
