THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JEFFERSON COUNTY... IN CENTRAL ALABAMA.

* UNTIL 1125 PM CDT

* AT 824 PM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS...WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN EXTENDING FROM
  BIRMINGHAM...WEST THROUGH PLEASANT GROVE AND SYLVAN SPRINGS.
  THEY WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE WEST.

* THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER JEFFERSON
  COUNTY THIS EVENING.  RADARS ESTIMATE THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN MAY
  HAVE FALLEN IN THE AREA BETWEEN BIRMINGHAM...AND PLEASANT GROVE.
  ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND MOVE OVER THE SAME
  AREA...AND THIS WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.
