THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BARBOUR COUNTY... IN SOUTHEASTERN ALABAMA.
  PIKE COUNTY... IN SOUTHEASTERN ALABAMA.

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT...THIS EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS WARNING.

* AT 450 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING TO MOVE SOUTHEAST ACORSS THE SAME AREA.
FLOODING WILL LIKELY DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY IN LOW AND POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS.  RADAR ESTIMATES ONE TO FOUR INCHES HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER
NORTHERN PIKE AND SOUTHERN BARBOUR COUNTIES.

*DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
