THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  PIKE COUNTY... IN SOUTHEASTERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 735 PM CDT

* AT 425 PM... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY
  RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF THE COUNTY MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

* LOCAL OFFICIALS HAVE REPORTED SOME ROADS COVERED IN THE
  BRUNDIDGE AREA AND FLOODING OF SOME LOW LYING AREAS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY
  RAINFALL WILL ENTER AND MOVE ACROSS THE ENTIRE COUNTY THROUGH 7 PM.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE FLOOD WA&TERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN
WATER BEGINS RISING.
