HEAVY SNOW WAS FALLING ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF NORTHERN NEW MEXICO THIS AFTERNOON. MOST LOCATIONS ABOVE 7500 FEET HAD RECEIVED 3 TO 6 INCHES OVERNIGHT AND THIS MORNING...WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 FEET ABOVE 9000 FEET IN THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS INCLUDING THE UPPER RED RIVER VALLEY.
