NOWATA COUNTY - NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA WASHINGTON COUNTY - NORTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA * UNTIL 700 PM CDT * AT 616 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH STRONG ROTATION 4 MILES NORTHEAST OF OCHELATA. A TORNADO COULD FORM AT ANY TIME AS THIS STORM MOVES EAST AT 10 MPH. THIS STORM MAY MOVE NEAR THE CITY OF NOWATA BY 7 PM. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THIS STORM. MOVE TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY THE SAFEST PLACE IN A TORNADO IS BELOW GROUND. IF A BASEMENT OR STORM CELLAR IS NOT AVAILABLE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.
