000 TTAA00 KTUL 051826 RRA SVRTUL ARC143-051915- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1226 PM CST THU MAR 5 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA OK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWESTERN ARKANSAS ...EASTERN WASHINGTON COUNTY AT 1225 PM...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM FROM JUST SOUTH OF FAYETTEVILLE TO NEAR WEST FORK. IT WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. WEST FORK...ELKINS AND FAYETTEVILLE ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM LIGHTNING DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE OR HAND HELD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES...UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY.
