THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
     WESTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY IN UTAH
     NORTH CENTRAL TOOELE COUNTY IN UTAH

   * UNTIL 915 PM MDT

   * AT 815 PM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED 32 MILES
     SOUTHWEST OF KELTON...OR ABOUT 31 MILES SOUTH OF PARK VALLEY...
     MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES PER HOUR.

   * ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS JUST NORTH OF I-80 BETWEEN      
     WENDOVER AND KNOLLS.  THIS STORM WAS ALSO MOVING NORTHEAST AND  
     INTO RURAL AREAS. 

   * THE FIRST SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR KELTON AROUND 900    
     PM.  THE SECOND STORM WILL AFFECT TRAVELERS ALONG I-80 BETWEEN  
     WENDOVER AND KNOLLS.   


IF SEVERE WEATHER APPROACHES YOUR AREA...GO INSIDE A STURDY SHELTER
AWAY FROM CREEK BEDS AND OTHER FLOOD-PRONE AREAS. REMEMBER...A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE LARGE DAMAGING HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

TRAVELERS ALONG I-80 SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR VERY STRONG WINDS 
BETWEEN KNOLLS AND WENDOVER.  TRAVELERS ALONG STATE ROUTE 30 BETWEEN 
LUCIN AND PARK VALLEY SHOULD ALSO BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER.
