THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

   * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
     WESTERN BOX ELDER COUNTY IN UTAH
     WESTERN AND CENTRAL TOOELE COUNTY IN UTAH
     

   * UNTIL 745 PM MDT

   * AT 645 PM MDT THUNDERSTORM WINDS TO 70 MPH WERE REPORTED AT 
WENDOVER PORT OF ENTRY STATION.  DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS SEVERAL  
THUNDERSTORM CELLS ACROSS NORTHWEST UTAH STRETCHING FROM WESTERN BOX 
ELDER COUNTY TO NEAR DUGWAY.  STRONG AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 
60 MPH ARE LIKELY FROM ALL OF THESE STORMS.  TRAVELERS ALONG I-80 
BETWEEN WENDOVER AND TOOELE SHOULD ANTICIPATE THESE WINDS ALONG WITH 
AREAS OF BLOWING DUST.
