NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

   * FLASH FLOOD WARNING ...
     EAST CENTRAL DUCHESNE COUNTY IN UTAH

   * UNTIL 900 PM MDT 

A DEBRIS BLOCKAGE ON THE LAKE FORK RIVER HAS PRODUCED A LARGE POOL 
OF WATER BEHIND IT APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALTAMONT.  
EMERGENCY MANAGERS INDICATE THAT THIS DEBRIS BLOCKAGE COULD GIVE 
WAY SOMETIME EARLY THIS EVENING.  NO CITIES ARE IMMEDIATELY 
DOWNSTREAM FROM THE BLOCKAGE...THOUGH MYTON UTAH IS ALONG THE RIVER  
16 MILES DOWN RIVER.  HOMES ALONG THE LAKE FORK RIVER ARE IN DANGER OF 
BEING FLOODED.  

PEOPLE BELOW THE DEBRIS BLOCKAGE SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION AND 
SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW.  FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANY REQUIRED 
EVACUATION AS OUTLINED BY LOCAL EMERGENCY OFFICIALS. STAY TUNED TO 
LOCAL TELEVISION...RADIHO...CABLE TV...OR NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR 
UPDATES ON THIS DANGEROUS FLOOD SITUATION.
