...MINOR FLOODING EXPECTED ON THE UPPER REACHES OF THE TUG
   FORK RIVER...

AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL OVERNIGHT HAS CAUSED STRONG 
RISES ON THE UPPER REACHES OF THE TUG FORK RIVER. PORTIONS OF THE RIVER 
NEAR BRADSHAW AND WELCH ARE EXPECTED TO CREST SLIGHTLY ABOVE FLOOD 
STAGE BETWEEN 9 AND 10 AM THIS MORNING. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND FLOOD 
PRONE AREAS NEAR THE RIVER CAN BE EXPECTED. FURTHER DOWNSTREAM AT 
MATEWAN THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO CREST TODAY BETWEEN THREE QUARTERS AND 
BANKFULL.
