  SOUTHERN LASSEN COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA
  SOUTHWESTERN WASHOE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 530 PM PDT

* AT 330 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN NEAR HALLELUJAH
  JUNCTION.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SLOWLY NORTH.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE PETERSEN MOUNTAINS EAST OF
  HALLELUJAH JUNCTION WILL CAUSE RAPID RUNOFF AND FLASH FLOODING INTO
  LONG VALLEY AS FAR NORTH AS DOYLE AND HERLONG.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO
