GRANVILLE COUNTY * UNTIL 620 PM EDT * AT 548 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR DIXON STORE IN PERSON COUNTY... MOVING SOUTHEAST AROUND 35 MPH. * THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR... THE MAIN THREAT IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLNIA IS FROM STRONG DOWNBURST WINDS.
