SOUTHWESTERN NEW LONDON COUNTY INCLUDING ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS IN SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT * UNTIL 500 PM EDT * AT 414 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN UPTON NY INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER LONG ISLAND SOUND NEAR PLUM ISLAND. THE STORM IS MOVING EAST-NORTHEASTWARD AT 45 MPH.
