SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTY IN SOUTHWESTERN OREGON * UNTIL 925 PM PDT * AT 450 PM PDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTY... MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHEAST. * SPOTTERS REPORT THAT HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTHWEST JACKSON COUNTY HAVE CLOSED HIGHWAY 238 BETWEEN JACKSONVILLE AND THE TOWN OF APPLEGATE. THE FIRST IN THE SERIES IS MOVING THROUGH OREGON NOW AND CONVECTION HAS EXPLODED WITH IT. NEXT IN SERIES IS MOVING INTO WASHINGTON STATE AND WILL MOVE INTO OREGON TONIGHT.
