EASTERN BROWARD COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN FLORIDA * UNTIL 600 PM EDT * AT 453 PM EDT... DOPPLER RADAR AND SPOTTER REPORTS INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF WESTON IN CENTRAL BROWARD COUNTY. PUBLIC REPORTS OF 70 MPH WINDS AND TREES DOWN WERE RECEIVED FROM NORTH WESTON AT 448 PM AND A FUNNEL CLOUD HAS BEEN OBSERVED ON THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF THE STORM NEAR NOB HILL RD AND I-595. RESIDENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH...POSSIBLE LARGE HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING WITH THIS STORM. ALSO..STAY ALERT FOR THE FUNNEL CLOUD TO EXTEND TO THE GROUND AS A TORNADO AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST LEVEL OF YOUR HOME OR OFFICE.
