IN SOUTHWESTERN FLORIDA ...COLLIER COUNTY ...MONROE MAINLAND AT 450 PM EST... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NUMEROUS VERY STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN THE COASTAL WATERS OF COLLIER AND MAINLAND MONROE COUNTIES FROM SOUTH AND WEST OF THE LOWER KEYS TO 20 MILES SOUTH OF THE COLLIER COUNTY COAST. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT AROUND 50 MPH. SOME OF THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING SEVERE WEATHER. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
