000 TTAA00 KMEM 031921 SVRMEM ARC111-031955- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 121 PM CST FRI APR 3 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 155 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEASTERN ARKANSAS ...POINSETT COUNTY AT 120 PM CST DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR IDENTIFIED TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER POINSETT COUNTY. ONE WAS 3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HARRISBURG. THE OTHER WAS NEAR WEINER. BOTH STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. DAMAGING HAIL IS LIKELY WITH BOTH STORMS. THE STORM NEAR HARRISBURG WILL MOVE INTO THE TRUMANN AREA BY ABOUT 135 PM. THE STORM NEAR WEINER APPEARS LIKELY TO STAY OVER RURAL AREAS. .THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
