TENNESSEE..NORTH MISSISSIPPI..EAST ARKANSAS AND THE MISSOURI
BOOTHEEL.

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT ACROSS EAST ARKANSAS..THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL..WEST TENNESSEE
AND NORTH MISSISSIPPI.

A WARM FRONT WAS MOVING INTO WEST TENNESSEE THIS MORNING..WITH A
STATIONARY FRONT IN MISSOURI. THESE ALONG WITH A DEVELOPING LOW IN
NORTHERN TEXAS ARE COMBINING TO BRING MOISTURE UP FROM THE GULF. ALSO
UPPER LEVEL WINDS ARE MAKING THE ATMOSPHERE MORE UNSTABLE.
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING ACROSS THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL..WEST TENNESSEE
AND EXTREME NORTH MISSISSIPPI THIS MORNING. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE
INTO MIDDLE TENNESSEE BY AFTERNOON. SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON WILL AGAIN
DESTABILIZE THE ATMOSPHERE..ALLOWING NEW THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP.

LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND ARE THE MAIN THREAT..BUT WINDS WILL VEER
STRONGLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING..AND PRODUCE A THREAT OF
ISOLATED TORNADOES.

STORM SPOTTER GROUPS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL SHOULD BE
