THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN CRAIGHEAD COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 1050 PM CDT

* AT 740PM... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
  AREA OF HEAVY RAIN OVER EASTERN CRAIGHEAD COUNTY AND DEVELOPING TO
  THE SOUTH AND WEST OF CRAIGHEAD COUNTY MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
  DOPPLER RADAR AND SATELLITE RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATED THAT 1
  AND A HALF TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN THE PAST THREE
  HOURS NEAR JONESBORO.

* STREETS WERE FLOODED IN THE TOWNS OF BAY AND MONET. SANDBAGGING
  WAS BEING DONE AT BAY AND TWO CARS WERE UNDER WATER IN MONET. POWER
  WAS OUT OVER MOST OF THE EASTERN HALF OF CRAIGHEAD COUNTY.

IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD `DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...
ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
