THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SHELBY COUNTY IN WESTERN TENNESSEE

* UNTIL 1125 PM CDT

* AT 920 PM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE OVER MUCH
  OF SHELBY COUNTY AND WERE MOVING EAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. HEAVY
  RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE COUNTY UNTIL 11 PM.

* SEVERAL ROADS IN EASTERN SHELBY COUNTY ARE FLOODED. THE SHELBY
  COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTED THE WORST FLOODING ON APPLING
  FROM DEXTER TO I-40 AND ON DEXTER FROM APPLING TO GERMANTOWN
  PARKWAY.

.BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.
MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
