THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LEE COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI
  PONTOTOC COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 340 PM CDT

* AT 130 PM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS LEE AND PONTOTOC
  COUNTIES. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MILES
  AN HOUR.

* STREET FLOODING WAS REPORTED IN TUPELO. NEARLY TWO INCHES OF RAIN
  HAD FALLEN AT THE TUPELO AIRPORT IN 20 MINUTES TIME. DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED NEARLY THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN SOUTHERN
  PONTOTOC COUNTY.

IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT

ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...
ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
