WINKLER COUNTY IN WESTERN TEXAS * UNTIL 850 PM CST * AT 640 PM CST... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED OVER WINKLER COUNTY... MOVING EAST NEAR 30 MPH. * EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AT THE RATE OF 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL PRODUCE FLOODING ACROSS MUCH OF WINKLER COUNTY INCLUDING WINK AND KERMIT THROUGH 850 PM CST. MIDLAND DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS PORTIONS OF WESTERN WINKLER COUNTY. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGER OF FLOODING.
