* UNTIL 705 AM CDT

* AT 613 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR OLNEY TO MONTGOMERY CITY... MOVING EAST
  AT 35 MPH.

* LOCATIONS THAT WILL BE AFFECTED...
  SILEX...HAWK POINT...WARRENTON...WRIGHT CITY...TROY...ELLSBERRY...
  AND WINFIELD.

MONTGOMERY CITY REPORTED 60 TO 70 MPH WINDS WITH NUMEROUS TREES AND
LIMBS DOWN BETWEEN 600 AND 610 AM.

SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE IN ST LOUIS.  AREAS INCLUDED ARE PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST...CENTRAL...EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AS WELL AS
WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE ENTIRE WARNING AREA THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OVER THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE AREA...GENERALLY NORTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM GIRARD IN
IN MACOUPIN COUNTY ILLINOIS TO JERSEYVILLE SOUTHWEST TO STEELVILLE
IN CRAWFORD COUNTY. A MODERATE RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
EXIST SOUTH AND EAST OF THAT LINE.

EMERGENCY MANAGERS AND STORM SPOTTERS GROUPS SHOULD STAY INFORMED ON
