KNOX COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI * UNTIL 110 PM CDT * HEAVY RAINS EARLY TODAY HAVE PRODUCED FLOODING PROBLEMS OVER KNOX COUNTY. AT 9 AM...THE KNOX COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED WATER COVERING THE ROAD AT HIGHWAY F WEST OF HIGHWAY 15...AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 156 AND 151...AND ON HIGHWAY E JUST SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 6. * RAINFALL REPORTS FROM THE AREA INDICATE 4 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN FELL ACROSS THE COUNTY OVERNIGHT. RADAR INDICATES THAT 1 OR 2 MORE INCHES OF RAIN MAY FALL OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
