THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER UNTIL MID MORNING.
ALSO...A HIGH WIND WARNING IS IN EFFCT TODAY.

A DEEPENING STORM OVER NORTHWEST IOWA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE THREAT
OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING.  A MORE SERIOUS THREAT LOOMS
DURING THE MIDDAY AND AFTERNOON AS WINDS SHIFT TO SOUTHWEST
AND INCREASE.  STEADY WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS IN
EXCESS OF 60 MPH LIKELY.  SOME DAMAGE CAN BE EXPECTED WHERE THE
STRONGER GUSTS OCCUR.

WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO SUBSIDE SLOWLY TONIGHT.
