THE WATCH IS EAST AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM JUST WEST OF COVINGTON THROUGH FRANKFORT TO STANFORDAND THEN EAST TO PIKEVILLE. A COLD FRONT FROM CHICAGO TO ST LOUIS WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS KENTUCKY TONIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR IN THE WATCH AREA...WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL THE MAIN THREATS. A TORNADO WATCH ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH AND WEST KENTUCKY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT.
