THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BULLITT COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY
  JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY

* UNTIL 1000 PM EDT

* AT 745 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG THE OHIO RIVER NEAR METRO
  LOUISVILLE...MOVING SLOWLY EAST AT 10-20 MPH.

* AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL
  PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE FROM
  1-3 INCHES AN HOUR...AND LAST 1-2 HOURS.
  SOME STREETS AND LOW LYING AREAS WILL FLOOD.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP VTO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT
AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
