THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS LA HAS ISSUED A...

* TORNADO WARNING FOR
   - HARRISON COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 715 AM CDT

* AT 642 AM CDT... SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED A POSSIBLE TORNADO
NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE 10 AND US HIGHWAY 49 IN
GULFPORT. THIS ACTIVITY WAS SPAWNED IN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM
ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE EYEWALL OF HURRICANE GEORGES.

* THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST INTO THE
PASS CHRISTIAN - DIAMONDHEAD AREA SHORTLY.
