THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS LA HAS ISSUED A...

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
   - WESTERN JACKSON COUNTY IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 1000 AM CDT

* AT 750 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING OFF
  THE MISSISSIPPI SOUND INTO THE OCEAN SPRINGS AND D'IBERVILLE
  AREAS SINCE 6 AM. RAINFALL HAD BEEN TORRENTIAL WITH JACKSON
 COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTING VISIBILITIES REDUCED TO A FEW
 FEET IN THE HEAVY RAINFALL. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATED
 BETWEEN TWO AND THREE INCHES OF RAIN MAY HAVE FALLEN IN ONE
 HOUR'S TIME JUST NORTH OF OCEAN SPRINGS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
