IN SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS ...JASPER COUNTY ...NEWTON COUNTY AT 1110 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CITY OF JASPER. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL IN TYLER COUNTY. THE TOWN OF KIRBYVILLE IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM. UPPER LEVEL DYNAMICS ARE KIND OF TRICKY. IT LUKS LIKE THE AREA WILL BE INFLUENCED BY A JET COUPLET TONIGHT WITH THE RR QUAD OF ONE JET STREAK MOVING ACROSS EASTERN TEXAS NOW AND THE LF QUAD OF ANOTHER JET STREAK MOVING OVER THE NW GULF OF MEXICO. A SFC TROF WILL CURRENTLY OVER SOUTH CENTRAL TX WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA LATER TONIGHT. SEVERE WX IS ALSO POSSIBLE WITH LIS IN THE 0 TO -4 RANGE AND GOOD DIRECTIONAL AND SPEED SHEAR.
