JASPER COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS * UNTIL 1205 AM CDT * AT 900 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT NEAR 3 2/2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN FROM BUNA TO JUST EAST OF JASPER DURING THE PAST 3 HOURS. 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE NEXT 2 TO 3 HOURS . * FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND ROADWAYS ESPECIALLY ALONG HWY 96. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.
