AT 20Z WARMFRONT APPEARS TO BE OVER SOUTHERN NEBRASKA JUST NORTH OF THE
KANSAS BORDER WITH 90 DEGREE TEMPERATURES IN NORTHERN KANSAS AND UPPER
70S AND LOW 80S OVER SOUTHERN NEBRASKA. THE SURFACE LOW WAS NEAR HILL
CITY KANSAS. WATER VAPOR SHOWING SHORTWAVE HELPING TO SET OFF CONVECTION
OVER WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND DRY PUNCH MOVING INTO SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA.
KLNX RADAR STILL FREE OF ANY RETURNS.

THE ETA MODEL SIMILAR WITH NGM SHOWING UPPER TROUGH OVER THE WEST COAST
AND EJECTING SHORTWAVES INTO THE FA THROUGH 48 HOURS. THE SURFACE LOW
WILL BECOME NEARLY STATIONARY OVER SOUTHCENTRAL NEBRASKA FROM 24-36
HOURS AND THEN SHIFT INTO NORTHEAST NEBRASKA BY 48 HOURS. SHORTWAVE
SHOULD HELP FIRE THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT OVER THE SOUTHWEST AND SHOULD
OVERCOME ETA PROGGED WARMER 700 TEMPS. BY WEDNESDAY...SHOULD GIVE 700
TEMPERATURES ENOUGH TIME TO ADVECT INTO THE SOUTHWEST FOR LOW POPS
THERE. WARM 700 TEMPERATURES ADVECT INTO THE NORTHEAST FA BY WEDNESDAY
NIGHT BUT THETA-E RIDGE IN VICINITY ALONG WITH CAPE FROM 2500 TO 3000
J/KG SO WILL GO WITH HIGHER POPS THERE THROUGH THURSDAY.

HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL TONIGHT AGAIN WITH POSSIBLE FLASH
FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN ANW-ONL GROUP WHERE FFG ARE LESS THAN TWO
