CHILLICOTHE AND LANCASTER.

A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER EXISTS LATE THIS MORNING INTO
THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE MIAMI AND WHITEWATER VALLEYS...SOUTHWEST
OHIO AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY. TOWNS IN THE SLIGHT CHANCE INCLUDE...
DAYTON...CINCINNATI...RICHMOND AND DRY RIDGE.

BREEZY SOUTHWEST WINDS WHICH WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH BY LATE

MOISTURE WILL HELP DESTABLIZE THE AIRMASS OVER THE OHIO

A COLD FRONT APPROACHING FROM THE NORTHWEST WILL INTERACT WITH THIS
UNSTABLE AIRMASS CAUSING THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP DURING THE LATE
MORNING ACROSS EASTERN INDIANA...AROUND MIDDAY IN WESTERN OHIO AND
DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON IN CENTRAL OHIO. SOME OF THESE STORMS
WILL BECOME SEVERE TODAY. THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREATS APPEAR
TO BE DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL BUT DUE TO THE STRENGTH OF THE
WIND FIELDS ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

AREA SKYWARN SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED LATER TODAY.
STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS FOR LATER
