THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS FOR...
  WAYNE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL INDIANA.

* EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM EST (1215 AM EDT).

* THUNDERSTORMS HAVE PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN OVER WAYNE COUNTY INDIANA
  THIS EVENING. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE BETWEEN TWO TO
  THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS WESTERN WAYNE COUNTY SINCE
  7 PM EST.

* ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE MORE HEAVY RAIN THROUGH
  THE REST OF THIS EVENING. THIS WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF
  FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING AREAS AND ALONG AREA CREEKS
  AND STREAMS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...

OF WRM FRNT OVER IL/IN/KY. OOZ ETA MODEL RUN WAS ACCURATE WITH ALL ELEV
CONV INDICATORS FOR THIS DEVELOPMENT. ACCORDING TO GUIDANCE...IT
APPEARS AS TIME GOES ON THROUGHOUT THE DAY...CONVECTION MAY BECOME MORE
SFC BASED IN VCTY OF WRM FRNT...WITH CELLS STILL TRACKING ALONG 850-300
MB MEAN LAYER FLOW. THE PRECIP EFFICINCY HOWEVER WAS CORRECT IN INTS
PICK UP OF THE ONSET OF PRECIP WITH THIS CURRENT SYSTEM. THIS INDICATOR
APPEARS TO PROG THE POTENTIAL ONSET OF PRECIP INTO SW QUARTER OF FA FOR
MID-LATE AFTERNOON. ALTHOUGH SOME DIMINISHING OF PRECIP NOW OBSERVED AS
ENTIRE SYSTEM TRACKS SLOWLY EWRD...MODEL INDICATORS ARE THAT
PROGRESSION WILL STILL CONTINUE. SUGGEST INTRODUCING POPS INTO
CVG/DAY/PRT AREAS FOR MID-LATE AFTERNOON. TEMPS LOOK GOOD...ALTHOUGH
WONDER IF CLD COVER WILL INHIBIT 80 DEGREE READINGS.
