FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN MAINE

   ...NORTHERN AND CENTRAL OXFORD...
   ...FRANKLIN COUNTY

  THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLOOD WARNING FOR
NORTHERN AND CENTRAL OXFORD AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 AM.
ALTHOUGH THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT PRODUCED THE FLOODING
MONDAY NIGHT HAVE LEFT...SOME SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE STILL IN
FLOOD.  AT 700 AM...THE SWIFT RIVER AT ROXBURY WAS AT 7.97 FEET.
FLOOD STAGE IS 7 FEET. THE SMALL RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE EXPECTED TO
RECEDE LATER THIS MORNING.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER 
SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.  IF
FLOODWATERS THREATEN YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
