COWETA COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN GEORGIA FAYETTE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN GEORGIA * UNTIL 920 AM EDT * AT 844 AM EDT... A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR WAS FROM FAIRBURN TO 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF NEWNAN. THE SEVERE STORMS WERE PRODUCING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS BLOWING DOWN TREES AND POWER LINES. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
