000 TTAA00 KATL 171507 RRA SVRATL GAC221-171545- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 1007 AM EST TUE FEB 17 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...OGLETHORPE COUNTY AT 10:05 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 15 MILES WEST OF LEXINGTON. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 50 MILES AN HOUR. THE PATH OF THIS STORM WILL TAKE IT TO LEXINGTON BY 10:25 AM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
