THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  VAL VERDE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  WESTERN EDWARDS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  WESTERN KINNEY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 450 AM CDT

* FLASH FLOODING EXPECTED AROUND-
  FROM DEL RIO TO BRACKETTVILLE TO ROCKSPRINGS TO JUNO AND BACK TO
  DEL RIO.

* SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO FORM AND MOVE
  SLOWLY NORTHWARD ACROSS MUCH OF VAL VERDE AND THE WESTERN HALF OF
  KINNEY AND EDWARDS COUNTIES.  RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO 1 TO 2
  INCHES PER HOUR ARE ESTIMATED BY RADAR.  BECAUSE THE SOIL IS
  SATURATED FROM RECENT RAINS... FLASH FLOODING WILL BE QUICK TO
  OCCUR.

IF YOU ARE IN THESE AREAS... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE
THROUGH WATER COVERING THE ROAD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT
AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND... SHOULD FLOOD WATERS THREATEN. IF FLASH
FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
