SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  730 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...VAL VERDE COUNTY
 
AT 525 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES WEST OF LOMA ALTA.
 
RADAR INDICATED RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR AND THIS IS THE
SECOND SEVERE THUNDERSTORM TO TRACK ACROSS THE COUNTY.  FLASH FLOODING
IS LIKELY ACROSS NORTHEASTERN VAL VERDE COUNTY.
 
ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS WEST LANGTRY APPROACHING THE COUNTY
LINE.  RADAR INDICATED HAIL NEAR 1 INCH IN DIAMETER WITH THIS STORM.
 
MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
O.F LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN ALSO OCCUR WITH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...FLOODING SMALL
STREAMS...LOW AREAS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
