THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DES MOINES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN CERRO GORDO COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL IOWA

* UNTIL 1140 PM CDT

* AT 840 PM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHEASTERN CERRO GORDO
  COUNTY... MOVING SLOWLY NORTHEAST.

* A SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM OVER SOUTHEASTERN CERRO GORDO COUNTY WAS
  PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED NEARLY 3
  INCHES OF RAINFALL IN THE PAST HOUR.  THIS WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING ALONG BEAVERDAM CREEK AND OTHER TRIBUTARIES OF THE WEST
  FORK OF THE CEDAR RIVER. STREET FLOODING IN ROCKWELL CAN ALSO BE
  EXPECTED.


DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!  DO NOT DRIVE
AROUND BARRICADES. THE ROAD AHEAD IS FLOODED ANDD MAY EVEN BE WASHED
