THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  REFUGIO COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  ARANSAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 200 PM CDT

* AT 1050 AM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN ALONG AND NORTH OF A ROCKPORT TO WOODSBORO
  LINE...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH.

* CONTINUED HEAVY RAINFALL WILL AGGRAVATE FLOODING ACROSS THE WARNED
  AREA.  PREVIOUS RAINFALL OVER THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS HAS LEFT THE
  GROUND SATURATED AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUN OFF QUICKLY.
  REFUGIO COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS THAT FARM ROAD 629 IS CLOSED.  DON'T
  DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES... DIPS... OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM... EVEN A SMALL
ONE... ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO
NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES.

W TX AND MOISTURE AXIS DRIFTING W ACROSS THE TX COAST.  ALL THESE
