THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN CALHOUN IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 425 AM CDT

* AT 130 AM CDT... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF VERY
HEAVY RAIN MOVING TO THE WEST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.

* AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN THAT HAD CAUSED FLOODING ACROSS CALHOUN
COUNTY WAS MOVING OUT OF THE AREA... HOWEVER THE CALHOUN COUNTY
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTED THAT FLOODING CONTINUES TO BE A
PROBLEM ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN PORTION OF CALHOUN COUNTY...
THEREFORE THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 425 AM CDT.


BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT
AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
