THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAM
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

   ...CUYAHOGA COUNTY...ERIE COUNTY...HURON COUNTY...LORAIN COUNTY
   ...MEDINA COUNTY
 
AT 730 PM DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW RAIN ACROSS ALL OF NORTHERN
OHIO WITH SOME AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN. A FEW STREAMS WERE BEGINNING TO
FLOOD IN LORAIN COUNTY AND THE WATER WAS COVERING THE ROADS.
 
RAINFALL AMOUNTS SINCE MIDNIGHT HAVE BEEN JUST OVER AN INCH. THE GROUND
IS SATURATED AND WITH MORE RAIN IN STORE MORE STREAMS AND ROADS WILL
FLOOD. SOME BASEMENTS MAY ALSO FLOOD.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATE8R SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
