THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA SC HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN CHESTERFIELD COUNTY IN SOUTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 300 AM EDT 

* WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES NEAR 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL 
  HAVE OCCURRED IN SOUTHEASTERN CHESTERFIELD COUNTY DURING THE 
  PAST HOUR.  THE MAIN AREA OF FLOODING WILL OCCUR ALONG ROUTE 
  20 BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAYS 1 AND 52 IN SOUTHEASTERN CHESTERFIELD 
  COUNTY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE 
ROAD. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO 
CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED 
QUICKLY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT
