THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  PIKE COUNTY... IN SOUTHEASTERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 550 PM CDT

* AT 444 PM CDT... A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS SHOWN...BY WEATHER RADAR
OVER NORTHERN PIKE COUNTY ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF TROY.  THIS STORM WAS
MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.  OTHER STORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE
NORTHWEST PORTION OF THE COUNTY AROUND 5 PM.

DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL ARE LIKELY. GO INSIDE A STURDY BUILDING
AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS!
