THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LAUDERDALE COUNTY... IN NORTHERN ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1215 PM CDT

* AT 910 AM CDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN FALLING GENERALLY EAST
  OF ROUTE 17. MOVEMENT WAS SLOWLY NORTHAST.  OTHER SHOWERS AND
  THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO LAUDERDALE COUNTY THROUGH NOON.

* SOME ROADS ARE REPORTED CLOSED ALONG ROUTE 8 IN THE VICINITY OF SHOAL
  CREEK.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

AREA RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS... AND BE PREPARED
