TO MOVE ACROSS EASTERN NEW YORK AND ADJACENT WESTERN NEW
ENGLAND THIS AFTERNOON...

A WARM AND MOIST AIRMASS ACROSS THE REGION WILL BECOME INCREASINGLY
UNSTABLE THIS AFTERNOON. A COLD FRONT ACROSS THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES
THIS AFTERNOON WILL TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS IT SWEEPS
ACROSS THE NORTHEAST. THUNDERSTORMS HAVE ALREADY DEVELOPED ACROSS
WESTERN NEW YORK. THEY ARE EXPECTED TO REACH THE ADIRONDACKS AND
WESTERN MOHAWK VALLEY BETWEEN ABOUT 100 AND 300 PM AND MOVE QUICKLY
EASTWARD REACHING THE HUDSON VALLEY AND EXTREME WESTERN NEW ENGLAND
BETWEEN 300 AND 600 PM.
